Where Do I Find the Probate Notes for My CA Estate Case?

Estate Law CA Find Your Probate Notes.jpg

Do you have a probate case you'd like to look up online? It might be as simple as accessing the California Superior Court where your matter is located, whether it's a probate hearing for Sacramento County, Placer County, El Dorado County, etc. Over the past few years, the State of California has made information on probate court cases much easier to access, meaning that it's simpler for you to track your case and keep up-to-date with your attorney on developments in litigation.

Many of California's Superior Courts provide probate notes for probate-related matters set for future calendars. The notes are generally available from the time that they are created until the day of the scheduled hearing. The online Superior Court websites that provide information and links to probate notes are not all the same. Access may vary quite a lot from site to site. Some sites require specific information in order to access the notes, while others provide general access.

Probate notes generally provide a brief summary of the probate matter that is calendared. Some Superior Courts notes are much longer than others. Probate notes include the names of the parties, case number and type of hearing.

The information provided below is current as of March 22, 2016. Not all California counties are referenced.

If you're facing probate litigation, you'll need an experienced attorney who works to protect your interests and those of your family. As a veteran litigator, I've successfully served clients over the course of 40 years in complex estate battles. Call us at Hackard Law today so we can help you: 916-313-3030.
