We are proud that our Hackard Law 2016 Academic Scholarship winner, Wesley Hungbui, visited us here in California. He has a special message of thanks and inspiration that we're grateful for!

Hello, my name is Wes Hungbui. I am a junior at Rice University, and my majors are biology and political science. I applied for the 2016 Hackard Law Academic Scholarship and my essay had the great fortune of being selected as the winner. In my essay, I was inspired by my relationship with my grandfather, who was a tremendous role model in my life. His advice to always be consistent and detailed in all endeavors continues to motivate my education. The support I continue to receive from Hackard Law has been so important, and I am now considering the legal profession as a possible future career. If you're inspired by helping your community and elderly loved ones, I encourage you to apply for the Hackard Law Academic Scholarship this year. Best of luck!
