Ground Rules for Trust & Estate Fights | Interpretation and Application

Road Rules | CA Trust & Estate Litigation Ground rules establish a set of principles by which decisions are made or problems solved. California trust and estate litigation is based upon a set of procedural and substantive ground rules. These rules are found in statutes, case law and Rules of Court.

The practice of law involves reading, interpreting and applying ground rules to a particular set of circumstances. This process is not done in a vacuum. It is done in light of accomplishing client's goals. Clients have little interest in the musings of a law professor - they deeply care about advocacy - advocacy for their cause.

When it comes to trust, estate and elder financial abuse litigation, experience holds Mark Twain's observation to be true: "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." At Hackard Law we are engaged in advocacy for ordinary people and their families. While we understand the ground rules, we also understand that advocacy at its best is the pursuit of justice for those who have been victimized by the wrongdoing of others.

We represent clients in California's major urban areas including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and Sacramento. If you would like to speak with us about whether we might be your advocate, call us at Hackard Law: (916) 313-3030. We want to hear your story.
