On this Saturday, September 29th, I'll be delivering a half-hour presentation in San Francisco at the Family Wealth Workshop, hosted by the San Francisco Office of the Assessor. The subject of my talk will be how to create safeguards against elder financial abuse, based on my book The Wolf at the Door: Undue Influence and Elder Financial Abuse.
The Family Wealth Workshop will be held at the Eureka Valley Recreation Center on 100 Collingwood Street from 3 PM to 5 PM, and my presentation will begin shortly after 4 PM. Admission is free. In addition to my talk, I'll participate with the audience in a ten-minute question-and-answer session, and translations will be available in Spanish and Cantonese. The workshop is a great way to discuss how we can protect seniors from financial exploitation and secure both our families and communities, and I look forward to seeing you there.
