Thanksgiving 2018 | Where to Volunteer & Donate in Sacramento

Thanksgiving 2018.jpgThanksgiving is right around the corner, and it's a perfect reminder to be grateful for all our blessings. It's also an opportunity to spread your good fortune and donate to those who are less fortunate in our community. We're already getting close to the Christmas holidays, and the best way to begin the season is in helping those less fortunate. You can deliver a turkey and canned foods to a food drive, volunteer your time in a food kitchen downtown, or even donate online.

This year Hackard Law has compiled the top places in Sacramento where you and your family can give back, including charities like Loaves & Fishes and the Sacramento Food Bank. One particular group of those less fortunate are the individuals and families who have lost their homes in the tragic Butte County wildfires. We're providing a list of charities verified by GoFundMe where you can donate online and help ensure that victims of the fires have food, shelter and a chance to recover. Remember, you have the power to change someone's Thanksgiving for the better.
