Hackard Law Supports Alzheimer’s Foundation of America
- October 31, 2017 - Elder Financial Abuse,
The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America trains healthcare professionals in dementia-specific care, provides free and confidential memory screenings to over 3 million people and provides support, counseling and education to thousands of people.
That’s why Hackard Law supports AFA. In fact the profits from my new book, The Wolf at the Door: Undue Influence and Elder Financial Abuse are being contributed to the EFA.
Over 5.1 million American’s have Alzheimer’s disease – 1/3 men and 2/3 women. It is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. In our practice focused on estate, trust and elder financial abuse litigation in California we see a high number of cases where an elder with Alzheimer’s has been victimized.
America’s senior population is growing dramatically. Baby Boomers, our country’s largest generation ever, will have increasing concerns over the ravages of Alzheimer’s as well as a focus on the protection of seniors from financial predators.
We represent family members of elder financial abuse victims as well as their estates in most of California’s major urban areas, including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland and Santa Clara. If you have an elder financial abuse matter that you would like to talk about, call us at Hackard Law (916) 313-3030. We want to hear your story.
