Christmas 2025 | Peace and Good Will to All from Hackard Law

I’m Mike Hackard with Hackard Law. It’s been a busy year in California trust and estate litigation – and I’m grateful that I’ve been able to reach a number of favorable case resolutions for my clients.

Trust and estate disputes over assets like the family home can be emotionally painful, especially at a time like Christmas. Conflict over an inheritance should not be a normal part of our life, but for too many people it’s an unfortunate reality. I work to protect my clients’ interests, and with that I advise them to seek mediation where possible, a better alternative to litigation that’s costly and exhausting for all sides involved.

The Christmas season is a reminder for all of us to choose a just settlement over vengeance, and to seek reconciliation over hatred. Or at the very least, we can simply leave old feuds behind, heal old wounds and embrace peace, a great way to honor the birth of the Prince of Peace. And in that spirit, we wish you a very Merry Christmas.
